China's Silicon Carbide Exports Fell 43.39 Percent in August From The Previous Month

Chinese customs statistics show that in August 2019, China's silicon carbide exports were 17,786 tons, down 43.39% month-on-month and 53.51% year-on-year. From January to August 2019, China exported 189,085 tons of silicon carbide, down 22.90% from 245,246 tons in the same period last year.

In August, China exported 5,733 tons of silicon carbide to Japan, down 0.61% month on month and up 33.42% year on year. China exported 3,719 tons of silicon carbide to South Korea, down 29.64% month-on-month and 31.38% year-on-year. China exported 1,902 tons of silicon carbide to the United States, down 85.76% month-on-month and 90.29% year-on-year.
