Output by Chinese Silicon Producers Fell 9.85% in September From A Year Earlier

Chinese silicon metal producers produced 189,720 tons in September 2019, down 0.13% from 189,960 tons last month, according to the network data center. Production in the same period last year was 210,440 tons, down 9.85% from the same period last year.

In September 2019, the output of Xinjiang silicon metal producers was 92,040 tons, down 3.06% month-on-month and up 21.23% year on year. The output of Yunnan silicon metal producers was 50,760 tons, up 3.25% month on month and down 22.66% year on year. The output of Sichuan silicon metal producers was 24,300 tons, up 4.02% month-on-month and down 7.22% year on year. The output of Gansu's silicon metal producers was flat at 8,000 tons, down 2.44% from a year earlier.
