The New Round of China-us High-level Economic And Trade Consultations Has Concluded in Washington

Trade representative Robert lighthizer and Treasury secretary Donald mnuchin are in Washington for a new round of high-level economic and trade consultations. Under the guidance of the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, the two sides held candid, efficient and constructive discussions on economic and trade issues of common concern. The two sides made substantial progress in agriculture, intellectual property protection, exchange rate, financial services, expanded trade cooperation, technology transfer and dispute settlement. The two sides discussed follow-up consultation arrangements and agreed to work together towards a final agreement.
